The purpose of this experiment is

• To verify the left-hand rule for conductors and coils.
• To prove that the strength of a magnetic field is proportional to the current flow through the coil.
• To become familiar with the magnetic field of the permanent magnet, compass.

Electricity and magnetism are inseparable-Electric currents produce magnetic fields and vice versa. In this experiment, you will observe their interdependence.
