Introduction:
• The OPM is a hand held optical power meter that measures the power of light emanating from an optical fiber.
• It uses a silicon detector for improved sensitivity & temperature stability.
• The detector & associated circuitry are all enclosed in an encapsulated module with SMD components to achieve a high degree of reliability & compactness.
• Industry standard fiber optic SMA connector is provided for rugged & consistently repeatable operations.
• Two calibrated wavelength settings are provided namely 660nm & 950nm. The unit is powered by a 9V Battery.
